Margaret served for nineteen years as Program/Conference Coodinator and Administrative Assistant for Youth Empowering Systems [YES]. During her nineteen-year tenure, Margaret organized training programs for NTA [National Training Associates], YES, the Idaho Department of Education, and the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. Her knowledge and skills were utilized in coordinating the first annual – and subsequent 13 annual – Idaho State Prevention Conferences, recognized as one of the leading community-based prevention conferences in the United States.

As cofounder of International Training Associates [INTA], Margaret continues in this vital role, offering her expertise and experience in coordinating all aspects of ongoing programs and conferences, sponsored or delivered by INTA in the fields of prevention and treatment.

Margaret’s past experience in the nonprofit sector includes working with Opportunity Through Ownership [OPTO], a San Francisco-based nonprofit corporation that assisted minorities in starting their own small businesses.
